This guide will cover the Duck Mask in The Division 2. I’ve also made a video version if you’d prefer to watch it instead.
The Division 2 Duck Mask Introduction
The Division 2 Duck Mask is a hidden secret tied to the Theo Parnell Manhunt mission at the Space Administration HQ. To unlock it, you need to shoot 22 ducks, which will trigger the appearance of a secret boss, Quack Borris, who drops the mask.
As long as the Shades of Red season is active, you’ll need to complete all 16 scout missions to unlock the Theo Parnell Climax mission. Once unlocked, you can perform this secret on any difficulty.
After the season ends, the mission will become a legacy mission, and you’ll be able to start it without any prerequisites.
While you can choose any difficulty to perform the secret, Quack Borris will spawn after the mission, and his difficulty will be based on your open world difficulty setting.
The Division 2 Duck Mask – Duck Locations
I’ll now go over all 22 locations of the hidden ducks during the mission. You need to shoot these ducks in any order for the first 21, but the 22nd duck must be shot last.
Duck 1
As soon as you enter the mission area, look to the left, and you’ll find the duck on a table.
Duck 2
In the same area as the previous duck, right at the start of the mission, you’ll find this one at the back of a truck in the center of the area.
Duck 3
In the same area as the previous two ducks, you’ll find this one under a water feature in the far left corner, from where you enter.
Duck 4
As soon as you enter the building, you’ll find this duck behind the reception desk.
Duck 5
From the last duck, enter the next area, then head left and up the stairs. Once at the top, turn back to find this duck on a ledge.
Duck 6
From the last duck, head back down the stairs and move forward to the set of stairs on the right. You’ll find this duck underneath the stairs.
Duck 7
Continue forward until you reach the third floor, then head left into the corridor. You’ll find this duck on the floor next to a chair.
Duck 8
From the last duck, head to the opposite side of the area. To the right of that room, you’ll find this duck on some metal shelves.
Duck 9
From the last duck, head forward, and you’ll find this duck hidden in a plant near the door you need to open before heading up to the next floor.
Duck 10
As you head upstairs from the last duck, the mission will prompt you to interact with a terminal. Once the terminal reaches 30%, you’ll need to open a door to shoot a junction box nearby. You’ll find this duck in the room with the junction box, sitting on an office chair.
Duck 11
From the last duck, cross the bridge to the other side and take an immediate right. Head all the way to the end, then look to the right to spot this duck on some metal shelving in an area that can’t be reached by foot.
Duck 12
From the last duck, head to the next area. Before going up the stairs to the exit, you’ll find this duck in the back left corner, between a chair and a plant pot.
Duck 13
As soon as you enter the room with Theo Parnell, you’ll find this duck between two servers on your immediate right.
Duck 14
After speaking with Theo Parnell on the rooftop, you’ll find two ducks. The first one is located on the first satellite to the right (A).
Duck 15
The second duck on the rooftop can be found near the exit, inside a bird’s nest above a door.
Duck 16
After the rooftop, you’ll descend the elevator shaft. The duck can be found in the first room you pass, sitting on a table shelf in the middle of a hose.
Duck 17
In the room where you need to lower the water level, there are two ducks. The first can be found in the side room with the number 3 valve, sitting in a tray as you go down the steps.
Duck 18
The second duck in the area is located in a locker in the same room with the screen and water valve number 5. The screenshot is missing the duck because it was accidentally shot while I was recording.
Duck 19
In the final area where you take down the boss, Bichon, there are three more ducks. The first one is immediately to the left as you enter, up the steps. You’ll find it on top of the yellow scientific device.
Duck 20
From the start of the area again, head right and up the steps. You’ll find this duck on some metal shelving on the platform.
Duck 21
The final duck in the area is located underneath the exit, on a box next to some ladders.
Duck 22
For the final duck, exit the area and head up the stairs to the garage. You’ll find the duck on a table in the center of the room. Once you shoot this duck, after shooting all the others, the secret boss “Quack Borris” will spawn. Defeat this boss to earn your Duck Mask.

If by any chance you get a Delta-03 during your run on collecting the ducks, which happened to me twice, don’t panick. When you are reconnected you only have to shoot the ducks in the area in which you respawn before advancing to the next area.
