GCROCK Community SHD Agent Role

The SHD Agent Role was introduced to address the increasing issue of toxicity in gaming communities. From the start, we have effectively managed our community, ensuring it remains a safe and welcoming space.

As our community grows, encountering toxic individuals becomes more likely. While our ultimate goal is to maintain a non-toxic environment, we recognize that complete elimination of toxicity is impossible since we can’t control others’ behavior. However, we can encourage and reward those who actively contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

To gain full access to our Discord community, members must meet specific requirements and apply for the SHD Agent Role. Admins will review these applications, and to retain the role, members must continue to set a positive example while upholding our community guidelines.

Role Requirements

Members can apply for the SHD Agent Role through our contact section on the main community Discord, but should only do so after meeting the following criteria:

  • Service – You must have been a part of our community for at least three months
  • Respectable Profile – Your username, profile picture, and description must be appropriate and respectful across our Discord and any other platforms linked to you.
  • Clean Disciplinary Record – You must not have received any Admin warnings in the past three months. While Admin warnings are given for more serious rule violations, we will also review any Moderator warnings.
  • No Recent Bans – You must not have been banned within the past 12 months and later reinstated.

Meeting these requirements allows us to review your application. We will assess your profile notes, history, activity, and interactions with other members.

SHD Agent Perks

The SHD Agent Role offers a variety of exciting perks!

  • Community Commendations: Showcase your in-game achievements through our community commendations. Once unlocked, you can equip their icons to display next to your name whenever you post.
  • Pingable LFG: One of the community favorites is our pingable LFG channels. SHD Agents can ping members who want to be notified when you’re looking for others to join specific activities.
  • Teal Name Color: Stand out in the community with a unique teal-colored name.
  • Stream Sharing: If you’re an SHD Agent who streams while helping the community, you can notify members when you’re live.
  • Photo Channel Access: SHD Agents can post in our official photo channels, where we share images of our members helping others.
  • Moderator-in-Training: SHD Agents can join our moderator training program, gaining access to our guidelines and learning how we moderate. Outstanding trainees may be considered for future moderator openings.
  • TSW Manager and Lieutenant Opportunities: As openings arise, SHD Agents will have the chance to become part of our clan management structure.

Loss of SHD Agent Role

Members can lose their SHD Agent role, and with it, all associated perks. Here are the conditions under which this can happen:

  • Leaving the Community: If you leave our Discord, you will lose all your roles. Should you return, you will need to reapply for the SHD Agent role.
  • Admin Warning: Receiving an Admin warning will result in the loss of your SHD Agent role and its perks. Admin warnings are given for serious rule violations that don’t warrant a ban.
  • Multiple Moderator Warnings: Accumulating multiple moderator warnings may lead to an Admin warning.

In addition to losing your SHD Agent role, you will also lose the following, if applicable:

  • Senior Moderator / Moderator / Mod in Training
  • Team GC
  • Clan Manager or Lieutenant
  • Community Commendations

As long as you remain respectful and non-toxic in your interactions with others, you’ll retain your role.

If you lose your SHD Agent role due to an Admin warning, you’ll need to wait three months before reapplying. If you’ve had a ban revoked, you must wait 12 months from the date you were reinstated before reapplying.
