Join the School of Rock Now!

Hello and welcome to my introduction to the “School of Rock”. The School of Rock is essentially a system that I have created in order to set up teams of people to help our community. It does have great value to all those that join and our community members. In this post my aim is to share my vision and commitment to our community. It should answer a lot of questions that people have regarding my methods and why I take so much pride in this service that we offer.

School of Rock

SHD or TCT is the current system that we use in our main community which I set up many years ago. It has always been the heart of the community and for the most part it was always led directly by myself.

From the end of 2021 I went from being single and being able to give a vast amount of my time to the community and SHD, to being in a new relationship and having another baby by February 2023. I had no option but to just focus on my Youtube channels and leave the community and SHD in other people’s hands.

Having to take a few years away the SHD system went through a lot of admins and a lot of restructuring to end up where it is today. It is certainly still something to be very proud of and so many people are working wonders to help our community with raids. The prime focus is getting people through raids and adding people to the team.

A lot of what I had originally built has gone though. My system was about creating individual teams as the primary focus that would then go on and evolve themselves while helping the community. The current system feeds already formed teams with the emphasis on learning the same strategies to then support them to help the community.

Although there is nothing wrong with the system, I want to get back to doing things my way but can’t just hit the reset button of a team that is doing great things. So this is where the School of Rock comes in!

Through everything I have learned during my first 7 years of doing this (at the time of writing), helping people with tough content is not the number one priority. It is a priority but the most rewarding thing that I have had is seeing groups of people form and make long lasting friendships.

Building friendships is the main priority and that is something we started to do in the early days. It is not about having one big group of people ready to go when the next person needs help. It is about getting smaller groups of people together and letting them bond within our community while being a part of our setup and structure to help the community.

Helping with raids is a great platform to do this! I believe that anyone can raid and there are strategies that can be set up to ensure that. I also believe that any team we form should be able to proceed how they choose once the building blocks have been put into place. Having something to aim for as a team is a huge bonding process and it helps to create that long lasting friendship group that we have made so many of.

The current SHD system may be doing this on some levels but it isn’t how I would be doing it so that is why I am creating the School of Rock.

The School of Rock takes it back to the early days of when I started the SHD Academy. The system is designed to allow players to form teams under my training and guidance. Once formed they will have a system to use to help our community with raids and whatever else that they choose to.

The training will take the team through what I call “Basic” strategies with builds that are team synergised to make the raids as easy as they can be, even if players have just reached the endgame. These basic strategies are designed so that all players can see how the raids were on day one when we didn’t know the shortcuts and newer methods to get things done.

The day one raids were the best time me and my teams have had on this game. There will be more in the future and I believe that every team knowing a basic strategy like this will future proof them if ever things were to change with the raids in the future. Not only this but I think it will better prepare teams for when newer content comes out for The Division 2 or in the far future with The Division 3.

Most importantly, by only learning these basic strategies new teams will be able to have goals to work towards once they are let free! By working together to learn better ways of doing things, it will create a huge amount of team bonding. This team bonding is what will create those long lasting friendships.

School of Rock is focussed on building teams and then those teams go on to enjoy the game together while helping our community in a person centred system. It’s not all just about building teams though, remember that I said helping people is also a big priority. In the School of Rock the person we are helping is put first as we have created a system that is designed for them to have the best possible experience that they can have once they get in with one of our teams.

Our current SHD system is still a thing and people are free to use that structure as well as join the School of Rock. I have created a brand new GCROCK server which is to act as a server for me rather than a community and this is where the School of Rock will be based.

All information on joining will be found in this server which can be found at this link: https://discord.gg/WB7z7UqWt2. The system is set up for solo players, friends that already have a group, and even experienced teams that want to join my structure.

Thank you for taking the time to read about the School of Rock and I hope it does what I said at the start, and that is to explain my methods, values and why I have so much pride in having a system like this for our community.
